Apple iPhone external batteries, everyone and their uncle seems to be claiming theirs as the thinnest in the world these days, one wonders which of them actually can claim that title.

Anyway this time it’s Mophie and the Mophie Juice Pack air, which, yes they claim to be the world’s thinnest Apple certified “Works With iPhone” external battery.

The Mophie Juice Pack air apparently incorporates a rechargeable 1200mAh polymer battery which it is claimed can double the Apple iPhone 3G’s usage, while doubling as a protective case and features a 4 LED charge status indicator, a pass through dock connector, and can be pre-ordered from Mophie for $79.95.
