There’s not a great deal of information on this one but apparently Asus are going to announce their Eee Phone sometime later this year.
Apparently this news comes via an Asus representative who told PC World. I think the Eee Phone is an Asus offering more than a Garmin/Asus partnership, and the Eee Phone is said to be a low cost consumer device.
There is also a whisper that this Asus Eee Phone may just be the first Google Android based phone coming from Asus, but that hasn’t been confirmed so take it with a pinch of salt.
