With the Apple iPhone the iPhoner can already control their home automation system, Netflix account and their VUDU queue, so how about controlling your DirecTV set top box as well.

Satcaster is fairly big on remote scheduling, and although this somewhat mysterious DirecTV application for the Apple iPhone doesn’t appear to yet have a public purpose it doesn’t take a genius to figure it out.

Word hitting the net waves is this limited beta app hasn’t even opened up for testers as of yet, so maybe we are looking towards a new apple iPhone application sitting on the horizon, who knows?
