We mentioned a while back that Garmin had joined with Asus, and we now have some new info on the nuvifone which is now called the G60, but don’t get your hopes up on a release date.

The official specs for the G60 are …quad band GSM, HSDPA, 3.55 inch touch screen, an advanced mobile HTML browser, 3 megapixel camera, and a GPS receiver, Ciao! an LBS app which links location centric social networks.

Then there are the specs on the all-in-one nuvifone M20, which runs Windows Mobile 6.1, and features a 2.8 inch touch screen, WiFi, HSDPA, accelerometer, 3 megapixel camera, GPS and Ciao.

As I said earlier, still no word on an actual release date or pricing, but then we should be used to not seeing a nuvifone by now.
