Word has reached the net waves that the mobile arena won’t be seeing the first Android based Samsung mobile phone making an appearance at the Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona.
Apparently, Youndhee Lee, Samsung’s mobile division’s head of marketing has announced there will be no Android phone at the event; however Samsung is “planning internally” for a release during the second half of 09.
Furthermore, Samsung is said to be in negotiations with numerous carriers with a view to talks about the upcoming Samsung Android phone. Just a shame Samsung couldn’t have something ready to show off at MWC 2009.
