Nokia and Skype have partnered to deliver VoIP to the Nokia N97 in the 3rd quarter of this year. The Nokia N97 will come preloaded with the Skype application.
Skype instant messaging with be built in to the address book and is set to spread throughout the entire Nokia N series before the year is out.
According to the VP of Nokia N Series, Jose-Luis Martinez, with more than 400 million people using Skype globally the integration of Skype on Nokia N series mobile phones is a significant step to bringing Internet experiences from the desktop to the world’s most advanced mobile computer.
