Last year at CES LG showed of their new classy watch phone, well it seems that Samsung has taken a leaf out of the LG handbook as at Mobile World Congress 2009 Samsung sported a timeline depicting Samsung’s history with the watch phone and the end entry is dated 2009.

Which means we should be seeing the Samsung GT-S1100 watch phone sometime in the future, and like LG’s GD910 the Samsung GT-S1100 sports a touchscreen, speakerphone and Bluetooth.

Samsung showed off the GT-S1100 only as a dummy sealed behind a glass case at MWC 2009 which makes one wonder if it will ever see the light of day, but who knows maybe Sammy will pull it out of the bag to compete with the LG GD910 one day.
