We all know by now that the laptop makers are beginning to enter the mobile arena, and the newcomer is Acer who has just joined in the mobile phone game.
Acer is known for their laptops, but they are not only wanting to dive into the smartphone industry but also want to be amongst the top 5 within the next 5 years.
Well according to PC Mag, Acer wants to take the US market by offering smartphones for free when on contract, and Acer promises to have Acer smartphone in the US in the 4th quarter of this year or early 2010.
