Verizon Wireless has announced the availability of the Pantech CDM8975 mobile phone. Although definitely not in the sexy looking stakes, the Pantech CDM8975 does seem to deliver in the low end department.

The Verizon branded Pantech CDM8975 is of a flip form factor that offers dedicated push-to-talk and speakerphone buttons along with a 1.3 megapixel camera, VCAST music with Rhapsody, Bluetooth, VCAST Video, and expandable memory up to 8GB.

The Pantech CDM8975 is priced at $99.00 with a $50.00 rebate when purchased with a two year contract, however Verizon has decided the rebate will be in the form of a debit card which can be used where and debit card is accepted.
