AT&T Quickfire can quick fire into flames via AC Charger

Under: Mobile Phones, News Date: February 26th, 2009

The other day I reported that AT&T had issued orders for all of their Quickfire mobile phones to be removed from sale and shop floors with AT&T stating “quality issues” as the problem.

Well it appears that the quality is indeed in question beings the AT&T Quickfire can do just as the name says, quickly catch fire.

Apparently there have been a few complains of significant overheating when the AC Charger adapter is inserted incorrectly and force into the handset states an email sent to Quickfire customers by AT&T, and that if they experience any problems they should call 1-800-801-1101.
