Video: Samsung DLP Pico projector phone hands-on at MWC 2009

The Samsung DLP Pico projector phone was at Mobile World Congress 2009 and got itself videoed in a hands on, and we have that video for your entertainment below.

The Samsung DLP Pico projector phone handset itself looks not too bad with its touchscreen and shiny sliver casing, and the projected image shown in the video isn’t too bad either.

The Samsung DLP Pico projector phone hands-on video is only 1.11 minutes long but it does give you and idea of what to expect from the projection side of the mobile handset, so hit it up and check it out to see for yourselves.

  1. june says:

I was impressed, but the washed out colours and the very short battery life (about an hour at best I was told) says it might be better to wait for the next iteration.

This is definitely a breakthrough, but only a first pass at the capability that will certainly open up new revenue streams for operators (and others!)

I’m waiting to see what the laser based projectors will bring (Microvision, et al).
If the review done by the Mobile Industry Review guys is anything to go by Laser is the technology to watch (literally!)
