I’m not too sure why anyone would want to do this, but hey it’s certainly entertaining. Sonim claimed that their XP1 mobile phone is indestructible and so someone has put that claim to the ultimate test.

Christen da Costa decided to test Somin’s claims and took his Sonim XP1 handset to the local firing range and set about shooting the handset.

Apparently, Sonim had said the XP1 handset could withstand shots from a 9mm gun. Of course all this was captured on video and we have that video for you viewing pleasure. So hit up the video below and check out just how well the Sonim XP1 faired.
