The Toshiba TG01 Windows Mobile smartphone will be launched exclusively with O2 in Germany, thus offering an excellent alternative to the Apple iPhone 3G.
O2 Germany will begin selling the Toshiba TG01 smartphone this summer although no release date had been stipulated, and the price will be announced later in the year.
Spec wise the Toshiba TG01 offers up a 4.1 inch TFT touchscreen, quad-band GSM/HSDPA, an accelerometer, WiFi, GPS, 3.2 megapixel camers with auto-focus, Qualcomm Sampdragon QSD2850 1GHz processor and 256MB RAM.
Further European countries are expected to gain the Toshiba TG01 smartphone in the next few months but as yet there are no further details available.
