My, my, what is it with mobile application app stores these days, it seems like everyone and their uncle is opening a mobile application store.

Apple iTunes, Android, BlackBerry, Nokia, Samsung and Cydia are all at the app store game across various mobile platforms, and it appears that Acer is now planning to add to the wealth of app stores already out there.

The word is Acer is only at the discussion stage at present, so nothing is set in concrete as they are apparently trying to determine if an application store would be a viable asset to their mobile phone business. We’ll let’s you know as soon as we do.
