The Verizon branded Samsung Smooth U350 clamshell phone is a low end handset that replaces the Samsung U340, but the Samsung Smooth U350 on Verizon isn’t going to turn any heads.

The Samsung Smooth U350 could probably be called a budget phone with no 3G, but pops in a VGA camera, but doesn’t have a memory expansion facility.

If you are into basic handsets then the Verizon Samsung Smooth U350 clam will probably be offered free on contract after the usual $50.00 rebate and should be on street shelves by the end of the month.
