Samsung and LG have most of the wireless market tied up in Korea and penetrating South Korea’s mobile market is quite a task, however, Sony Ericsson has done just that by announcing their Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 for the Korean market.

Apparently Sony Ericsson is eyeing the Korean smartphone market as a long-term investment, and the word is SK Telecom will partner Sony Ericsson with the XPERIA X1.

The SK Telecom branded Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 will feature a preloaded full length Spiderman 3 film and is to have custom panels to fall in line with South Korean services.
