Apple gather journalists to reveal iPhone OS 3.0

Next Tuesday, Apple is inviting a few of their favoured journalists to a meeting at Apple’s Cupertino, California HQ to be given an advance sneak peek at the next edition of the Apple iPhone OS which they are calling OS 3.0.

It has been over a year since Apple disclosed the features of their soon to be released iPhone 3G OS 2.0 SDK, and this gathering of journalists is happening when there is a lot of speculation on the Apple netbook, which is also rumoured to possible run on an expanded version of the new OS 3.0.

There’s no word on who we can expect to be making any announcement, could be Shiller, or Forstall, or it could even be that Steve Jobs may make an appearance, so we’ll have to wait and see.
