Research in Motion, Alcatel Lucent and Mobicom Corp has announced the launch of the BlackBerry solution Mobicom in Mongolia. Mobicom will enable BlackBerry owners the benefits of enhanced communication via their Blackberry smartphone.
Initially Mobicom will offer customers the RIM BlackBerry Bold along with service plans for BlackBerry Internet Service and BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
The president of Alcatel-Lucent’s activities in East Asia, Olivia Qiu, says “Mobicom customers will enjoy the freedom and flexibility of the BlackBerry solution for staying connected to communications and information whenever they wish.”
Alcatel Lucent’s distribution agreement with RIM means Alcatel Lucent has a strong local presence to bring Mobicom integration, end to end implementation, launch and support services to the Mongolian Market.
