Apple iPhone 4G future with multi-core graphics?

The latest rumours hitting the net wave centre around the Apple iPhone or more to the point the next generation Apple iPhone, and hint at what high tech features could be packed inside such as more onboard storage and OLED displays.

One such rumour is that the next generation Apple iPhone will incorporate multi-core graphics, which has been hinted at since Apple acquired PA Semi along with their continued involvement with Grand Central technology that enables more efficient multi-core processing.

Imagination Technologies who licensed to Apple their PowerVR SGX graphics architecture has announced their new PowerVR SGX with support for multiple cores which is capable of delivering “high-performance console and computing devices” to the likes of the Apple iPhone.

So will multi-core graphics come to the next generation iPhone…who knows.
