The Samsung SCH-U490 mobile phone is to be a new music phone on Verizon Wireless and will be known as the Samsung Trance and is slated for release to the public sometime in spring.

The only available image of the Samsung Trance is a black and white of the rear of the phone via the FCC, however apparently the Samsung Trance will hold a slider form factor sporting a navigation touchscreen.

Spec wise so far the Samsung Trance will have Bang & Olufsen speakers, a 1.3 megapixel CMOS camera, 1GB internal memory which is dedicated to music and 128MB for apps and a microSD expansion slot to accommodate up to 16GB.
