Sony Ericsson $459 to $526 million loss expected in Q1

Sony Ericsson has announced they expect to make a pre-tax loss of somewhere between $459 and $526 million in the 1st quarter which they say has been hurt by weak demand.

Sony Ericsson, sitting behind the likes of Nokia, Samsung and LG as No 4 in the world say they expect to ship about 14 million mobile handsets during this period and estimate the average selling price to be about €120.
