I reckon everyone has heard the rumours of Dell working on a smartphone for launch sometime this year, well a Dell smartphone sporting Windows Mobile may just not happen quite so soon.
It appears that when Dell presented Google Android and Windows Mobile based smartphones to numerous mobile phone carriers, the carriers showed no interest in offering Dell’s wares.
The reason is apparently the Dell phones “lack differentiation” when compared with the likes of Samsung, Nokia and HTC and other major manufacturers. Thus it is believed Dell has returned to the drawing board for a few design alterations before trying again.
