The word is that Acer is to name their 1st Google Android based mobile phone the Acer A1 and that the Acer A1 will be released in September this year.

Unknown sources at Philippine BusinessMirror have announced the release information who states they got the information from Acer themselves.

The Acer A1 touchscreen smartphone will also apparently accompany 3 other handsets that Acer are planning to release in the same month although no information was given about these other three. No doubt Acer and Google are keeping quite on anything official.
