Two years ago Verizon Wireless’ original Samsung Alias U740 dual hinged phone came out but left much to be desired. Well according to the guys over at Phone Arena, the Verizon Alias 2 has just been leaked.

The word is the Alias 2 improves on the original by way of featuring dynamic changing button labels to deliver the mode switches, although at this time it isn’t clear as to which technology has been used.

There are whispers that the Alias 2 utilises an E-Ink display as apparently the labels remain even when out of power, but will it cut the mustard…probably not, but no doubt we’ll find out at CTIA.
