It is expected at the wireless CTIA tradeshow in Las Vegas next week, eBay owned Internet calling service Skype will announce there app for the Apple iPhone, according to a report by Gigaom.

However, Skype is remaining quiet as to whether this is true or not, but Skype has scheduled a press conference for the afternoon before CTIA begins, and it is expected the announcement will be made at this time.

Skype had previously stated they were working on an application for the Apple iPhone back at CES in January and that Skype would indeed be coming to the Apple iTunes App Store
