The HTC Touch Diamond brought great success for HTC and the same is expected of its successor, the new HTCD Touch Diamond2 smartphone.

Word has it over at mobility today that hints that the HTC Touch Diamond2 may e seeing a European and Asian release in mid-April, which puts this rumour in line with a previous rumour of T-Mobile Germany will be the 1st to carry the HTC Touch Diamond2 and HTC Touch Pro2 in the 1st half of 09.

Another whisper is that the HTC Touch Diamond2 on launch will command a price tag of about $600, although it isn’t quite clear how much a US spec HTC Touch Diamond2 will command.
