CTIA 209: Samsung Valencia or C6625 with Microsoft

Under: CTIA Wireless, Samsung
Date: April 5th, 2009

It appears the guys over at UnwiredView, while at CITA 2009 came across a mysterious mobile handset at the Microsoft booth, and the handset is the Samsung Valencia.

The Samsung Valencia was also spied at the Microsoft booth at MWC and has previously been called the Samsung C6625 according to some Samsung spec sheets.

What the guys have managed to9 find out is the Samsung Valencia has a QVGA display, 3G, GPS, 128MB ROM and 2.0GB RAM, and runs Windows Mobile 6.1 but with a special mod which looks like the Samsung TouchWiz user interface with widgets. The key point with the Samsung Valencia though is it isn’t a touchscreen handset.
