AT&T gets hold of the latest military spec rugged mobile phone today in the form of the Samsung a657, according to a post over at Intomobile.

The Samsung a657 is a rubberised candy-bar which conforms to military grade specifications for vibration, rain, humidity, dust, shock, solar radiation, and temperature and altitude extremes.

The AT&T branded Samsung a657 features a hardwearing rugged exterior while under the hood packs 3G HSDPA, GPS, AT&T Navigator, Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP, integrated flashlight, push to talk, and microSD expansion slot. The Samsung a657 is available via AT&T business channels so pricing will depend on a company agreement.
