Sony Ericsson C905 Plus for UK only?

If we were to say Sony Ericsson is launching the C905 Plus, you’d be forgiven for thinking that Sony Ericsson was launching a new handset even though the C905 hasn’t been released on AT&T or Rogers yet.

However, according to phonearena, Sony Ericsson has announced the C905 Plus, but it isn’t much of a retooling really. Rather Sony Ericsson has simply placed the latest firmware on it which features stuff such as Smile Shutter and an 8GB Memory Stick Micro card.

Furthermore, the Sony Ericsson C905 Plus is apparently just for the United Kingdom, so no doubt the C905 Plus will fade away quietly over the next few months as if you already have a C905 there’s not much point in the C905 Plus.

Actually, the owners of C905s are EXACTLY the people who will need this plus model, as the c905 is so plagued with problems (such as the infamous speaker breakages and the sudden, catastrophic shutdowns that even the factories cannot reverse… I permanently lost all my photos and calendar markings!) that an upgrade is absolutely vital and should be free for all c905 owners!
