Twitter is a huge thing with loads of fans all sending tweets either via computer or mobile phone, and the micro-blogging social networking site pulls in some famous names as fans.

The latest celebrity to jump on the Twitter tail according to a post over at Intomobile is none other than Oprah Winfrey, who only after one day of using Twitter already has 242,688 followers.

Oprah also received a welcome from Opera the mobile browser which said “Welcome @oprah. We’re the Web browser. May we forward all the misdirected e-mail we receive?”
