Today we get the low down on the T-mobile Sidekick LX 2009’s HipTop video capabilities thanks to MobileCrunch.

The word is the T-Mobile Sidekick LX, as they have apparently now dropped the 2009*, will feature full video capabilities along with a high resolution display.

Basically the Sidekick LX will record on either 176 x 144 or 320 x 240 resolution utilising the MP4 format, and do video playback with ease, and apparently adds H.263, H.264, 3GPP and MPED-4 video playback. Also a 1GB microSD memory card should hold somewhere between 15.5 and 17 hours of video recording.
