Okay, the word via i4u is that T-Mobile in Germany suffered a major outage yesterday and millions of T-Mobile customers were unable to use their mobile phone for roughly three hours.

Apparently the outage affected both voice and SMS, and T-Mobile Germany issued an apology along with an explanation stating it was a software issue in the Home Location Register servers.

It appears T-Mobile Germany has received bad press over the three hour outage as several customers have been reported as needing mobile phone service “badly” at the time. So were any of our readers affected by said outage? If us let us know your thoughts.
