Palm Centro phones dropped to $200 , two new colours

Palm is now offering an unlocked version of their Palm Centro in 2 new colours and has also dropped the price on the Palm Centro down to $200 according to brighthand.

The Palm Centro has been in the Palm portfolio for a while and is approaching the end of its run, and with the Palm Pre nearing launch this is probably why Palm has reduced the price.

The addition of two new colours, red and blue, only sweetens the deal with the unlocked Palm Centro which features a full QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera, Palm OS and a microSD slot.

well the palm is a great phone except the keyboard is a little too small but i love how the texts look like and the notificaions are very clear. The camera is okay, its a very easy phone to figure out but its touch screen so if you drop it a couple of times it starts going wacky and slow so on a scale of 1-10 i would give it a 5.

This is one of the worst phones I’ve ever owned.

While on the phone, if I switch lines if someone is calling in on call waiting, it will randomly switch between the two lines, or hang up on one of the people. It powercycles at random times

Its horrible.. Treo was much better made.
