Apple Recall of baby-shaking iPhone app raises questions

The quick pulling of the Apple iPhone app Baby Shaker has brought into question just how Apple selects applications for the App Store.

According to sfgate, Apple has said the inclusion of the Baby Shaker app was a mistake, with Apple spokesperson Natalie Kerris stating “This application was deeply offensive and should not have been approved for distribution on the App Store.”

But there still has been no explanation as to how Baby Shaker got approval for the Apple iPhone. Apparently changes will be made by Apple concerning the approval process, but just what changes they will be remains to be seen.
