Apple Officially Apologies for Baby Shaker app mistake

Continuing the saga of the Apple iPhone application Baby Shaker, apparently Intomobile has it that Apple has released an official apology for allowing the Baby Shaker app to be accepted into the Apple iTunes App Store.

The official statement from Apple read…” This application was deeply offensive and should not have been approved for distribution on the App Store. When we learned of this mistake, the app was removed immediately. We sincerely apologize for this mistake and thank our customers for bringing this to our attention.”

Apologies are all well and good but the Baby Shaker app should never have been accepted in the first place considering the nature of the application. It was obvious child abuse agencies where going to jump all over it. Time to get things right in the selection department I think Apple.
