The rumoured Palm Pre Moscone launch rumour has now been confirmed as false according to a report over on product-reviews.

The rumour was that there is a “Corporate Event” taking place at Moscone West on the 27th to 28th of May, and at the time there were apparently no mentions of any companies being involved thus this led to the assumption that there would be a release date announced for the Palm Pre.

The rumour was fake but it has now been confirmed that the event actually taking place is in fact Google I/O 2009. Just another rumour to hit the rumour mill that didn’t turn out to be true, one begins to wonder when we will actually see a confirmed release date for the Pre.
