The new Android 1.5 Cupcake has gone live and T-Mobile G1 packing G1ers will be come as an automatic download OTA sometime in May states a report on itproportal.
With the arrival of Android 1.5 Cupcake the G1 user will receive new features along with several improvements and will include speech recognition, a new touch screen keyboard, live folders and home screen widgets.
Also in Android 1.5 is enhanced GPS location and improvements to various apps such as email, calendar, contacts, and enables the user to access their GTalk status of contacts in different messaging apps and an improved webkit and JavaScript engine.
