Motorola has announced their 1st quarter results, but according to businessweek, Motorola co-CEO Sanjay Jha made no attempt to say anything about Motorola’s plans for Windows Mobile, which they think is quite significant.

Motorola last year said they would be focusing on just 3 OS’s for their mobile phones, namely their own propriety software, Windows Mobile and Android, with Android becoming the main focus.

Jha mentioned plans to release some Android handsets in the 4th quarter of 09, but there was no mention whatsoever on the Windows Mobile front, so is Motorola actually turning away from Windows Mobile and just going with Android?
