The word from phonearena is that the Samsung Alias2 is on line for release in just under 2 weeks from now, and is expected to release on the 11th of May, and this means it will be the very first E Ink mobile phone to launch in the USA.

The Samsung Alias2 features a dynamic keypad, which will include numbers and letter depending on which mode it is in, QVGA display, a 2 megapixel camera, and redesigned menu, although the design of this handset doesn’t win any design awards.

The Samsung Alias2 will be with Verizon Wireless and apparently rumoured to have a price tag of $79.00 which seems somewhat improbable so we’ll have to wait and see.
