iPhone 3.0 firmware improves camera quality slightly

Apparently iPhone 3.0 takes better images than its predecessor according to tests done by iphones.ru, whereby they snapped a few images side by side with iPhone 3.0 firmware and the previous version firmware.

And they captured 30 shots where iPhone firmware 2.2.1 blurred the image of the cat while the same shots take with iPhone 3.0 firmware blurred the cat a tad less.

So iPhone 3.0 firmware looks to improve on the Apple iPhone photo taking capabilities a little, although there isn’t a great difference. One thing they didn’t say was if the cat actually moved to cause the blurring though.
