A post over on forums.t-mobile has announced that while United Kingdom T-Mobile G1 owners are already gaining the Android 1.5 Cupcake update, T-Mobile G1 user in the United States can expect Android 1.5 to hit late next week.
Not everyone will get the Android 1.5 cupcake update all in one go as it will be rolled out over the air so it is expected every T-Mobile G1 owner will have Cupcake by the end of the month.
As a reminder, Android 1.5 Cupcake will include YouTube and Picasa uploads direct from the T-Mobile G1. Makes a change for us Brits to beat the Yanks at something doesn’t it, although I still haven’t gained Android 1.5.
