Most have heard the rumour that the new iPhone 2009 will feature a built in magnetometer compass, well apparently the guys of at the BGR have received confirmation of the new iPhone compass.

Confirmation comes via a couple of images from one of their ninjas which apparently show the compass option in one of the debugging menus.

This then is obviously for the built in magnetometer in the new Apple iPhone hardware and acts as confirmation that the rumours where indeed true, which in turn could lead one to believe that all the other rumours are true also, right?
