How to Build Your Own Verizon iPhone

So if you are one who would like to own an Apple iPhone but can’t stand the thought of being with AT&T, gigaom has come up with a unique way of building your own Verizon iPhone.

So here’s how it goes…grab yourself an Apple iPod Touch and combine said iPod with the upcoming Verizon MiFi modem, throw in a little VoIP client for good measure and mix with a reliable microphone, and bingo, one bastardised iPhone which will run on Verizon’s network.

Maybe not the ideal way of gaining an iPhone on Verizon as you’d have to carry 2 devices, but it should allow you to surf the internet whilst waiting for any calls, although battery life would suffer somewhat. So if anyone actually gives this a go, let us know how you get on.
