O2 has released their latest financial results and announce they now have a customer base of over 20.8 million subscribers which apparently is enough to fill The O2 and all O2 Academy venues over more than 400 times.

Apparently over the last 3 months O2 has out performed the market and has 141,753 customers join their ranks which is in excess of double for the same period last year. Pay Monthly customers have increased some 42.6 percent with tariffs such as Simplicity.

Pay As You Go customers are also strong thanks to offers such as Unlimited and Top Up Surprises. 63,618 customers have joined O2 Home Broadband bringing their fixed broadband customer list up to 404,484.
