At last, some official word from Sprint concerning the Palm Pre nationwide release date and pricing. We have been waiting so long for any official word of the Palm Pre we thought it would never come, but today it has landed.

Sprint has officially announced will become available on the 6th of June which was one of the hotly rumoured release dates. And as of that date will be available through Sprint stores, Radio Shack, Best Buy and select Wal-Mart stores and online via sprint.com.

Furthermore the Palm Pre will be priced at $199.99 with a 2 year Sprint contract and a $100 mail in rebate on an Everything Plan with data or Business Essentials with Messaging and Data plan.
