According to unwired view, Samsung Russia has announced the Samsung C3060R mobile handset which has been designed especially with the elderly in mind.

The Samsung C3060R features large keys, magnified user interface, bright backlight and a dedicated SOS button with access to up to 5 emergency numbers.

Other features on the Samsung C3060R include a 1.3 megapixel camera, SMS, address book, FM tuner, calendar, all your basic stuff that an elderly person may require without getting too technological, and costs 2000 Rubles when launched to be within reach of the lower income bracket.
