Kindle for the Apple iPhone has received an update from Amazon with the first update being version 1.1 which brings some important changes according to a post on iphone freak.
With the Kindle application update users can now choose different background and text colours, and can choose alternate set-up of white text on black background or grey text on sepia background and so on.
Also, the Kindle application for the iPhone now supports landscape mode, so you are now able to tilt the iPhone and read. Lastly the new update allows tapping on either side of the iPhone screen to turn pages.
Thanks for this update. I hadn’t realized that they updated to version 1.1. I’m going to update right now as I would love to read in landscape instead of portrait.
