Sony Ericsson has to raise $135 Million to continue

Sony Ericsson has been suffering lately with product cancellations, poor sales and layoffs, and according to a report by Reuters, for Sony Ericsson to continue running they need to come up with $135.5 million by next March.

They are looking at bank loans, parent company injections and other sources, and there is talk of Sony swallowing Ericsson’s share as their joint venture continues to slide.

The Sony Ericsson 12 megapixel camera sporting Idou mobile handset may keep Sony Ericsson afloat for a little while but things are looking bleak and they expect a rough ride ahead.
