Microsoft’s Zune HD will apparently play movies, digital radio feeds, and surf the net, but can it play games? Asks pcworld as they say no one is touting Zune HD as a gaming platform.

The Zune HD has been designed to take on the likes of the Apple iPod Touch which is also a gaming handset, and could snag some of the gaming audience which sits at around 50 million PSPs and over 100 million Nintendo DSs.

Microsoft is promising to demonstrate the Zune HD at the Electronic Entertainment Expo next week and how Zune HD integrates with Xbox Live Marketplace TV/Video service. Taking into consideration the Zune HD’s new OLED touch screen it makes it perfect for gaming.
