According to a report over on the Crave, Nokia issued an apology to Nokia users after the launch of the Nokia Ovi Store did not go as expected.
A statement on Nokia’s Ovi Blog said the Ovi Store had performance issues because of a large traffic spike and that “We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused Ovi Store users.”
This came on the back of earlier reports that day that there were major problems with the Ovi Store with slow loading and complete outages. However, after adding extra servers Nokia was able to make “intermittent performance improvements.”
